Muller,
I was just about to start a new thread. But I read this so I thought I shall put in my comments here.
As I see from your spec, you have definitely the power to run Warhead. It is AMAZING!! Smooth as silk even I don't overclock my Q6600 and ran the game at 2.4GHz, no problem at all! I don't know what brand your 4870 is, mine is a PowerColor which comes witha stock spped of 780MHz/3.6GHz slightly higher than reference board. And I think I set AA to 4 or something but you dont really care. AF seems to have done automatically for you.
The story line is so cool. I have just blown up a few vehicles and reached the beachside. And there are F-22 Raptors all over the skies, the game is so dynamic, at every point there are radio from the HQ as well as the pilots. You feel like you are in the battlefield.
The nanosuit is also very cool. I wonder if in the real world we have had one of these. Except the sprint function which makes me a bit confused if that is realistic at all. But it helps when you have to jump over a damaged bridge at some stage, I like the game very much and I was about to venture the Crysis War, but it requires a large patch which I don't find any of the sites it recommends downloads faster so I gave up for the time being. But I believe multiplayer should also be cool.
By the way, after running the game for 30 minutes, my CPU temperature was only 38C at peak, and the GPU was 66C which is not bad at all for getting an average frame rates above 40 FPS @ 1680*1050. What resolution do you intend to run?
Crysis War (multiplayer) comes in with another DVD.
Go get it, you wont regret!!
