As above, I was wondering if you could add the CD-key from the retail box to Steam for all that steamy goodness?

Thanks!

AFAIK you can't, but you can add a shortcut to the retail version in the my games list on steam. Warhead retail doesn't require the DVD in the drive, so i've never had a problem with this method.

You can put ANY game in your Steam game list to use Steams friends features and the browser etc, just browse it by shortcut.

Ahh thanks guys. =)

About the Steam-shortcut thing, I found myself compulsively adding all of my games when I got it, and it's got a good idea (the friends xfire-esque notification, integrated steam communities, web browser now) but I never bother launching through Steam. So, eh. =) Thanks again, though!
