Crysis Warhead Patch OUT N ABOUT + 64bit support

anyword on what this patch does, performance wise?

not a lot from the looks of this list, taken from the incrysis website

General Fixes/tweaks

* Windows Vista: Mouse cursor should no longer have an offset in the menu.
* Windows Vista: Unrequested launches in windowed mode should occur less often now.
* Timedemo can now be started from the command line.
* Better dynamic texture support for enthusiast mode.

New Features

* Added 64-bit executables for Windows XP x64 and Windows Vista 64-bit version. In Windows XP x64 a new shortcut will be placed under the Crysis Warhead program group. In Windows Vista right-click the Crysis Warhead icon in Game Explorer and choose to run the game in 64-bit mode.

Known Issues

* Games saved in 32-bit won't work properly when running the 64-bit version and vice-versa.

Note: After applying the patch the version displayed (lower right corner of menu) is 1.1.1.710.

Have applied the patch but they still haven't fixed the utterly useless menu system which is incapable of switching to 1920x1200, at least for me.

well IMO its worth it if it fixes that STUPID offset in the menus, i mean what the hell possessed them to do that?! :p

I`ve posted a thread here mentioning an issue I`m having with the patch (I now have the offset menu problem that I never had before). This is a defect with the patch but I`ve experimented a little and what I did to fix it was to roll back to the original installation by doing a clean install (after removing the game completely). With a clean install, I then set the graphics options to want I wanted to use and then installed the patch. I can now run at the resoliution I want without offset menus.

Basically if you do a clean install of Warhead and then immiedately apply the patch (without playing the game, configuring graphics), when you change the resolution the menu probably now reappears!!!!! or at least it does in my case. I think they didn`t test the patch well enough!

Hope this helps anyone who sees this problem
