crysis warhead problems

i can install crysis warhead and crysis wars without a problem, Put in the cd key that came with the game, which i bought.

All installs fine, and does the authenticity check at the end, and passes..

then when i go to run the game. my mouse pointer comes up with the loading circle for a few seconds, then nothing happens.

If i click it again, it says "a crytek game is already running" although nothing runs.

anyone help?

anyone? im having these issues withh crysis, crysis warhead and crysis wars.

it mentions a lot of it on google, but unfortunately no fixes.

apparently its down to crappy securom...
 
Do the discs require to be in when launching the game? I had an issue with some securom based games that required the disc trey to be cycled before I try to launch it.

Have you tried to launch it via radeonpro or something similar, see if you can force video settings before opening?

Edit: also try the route of all known game problems on AMD cards....disable crossfire.

I'm going to install it now, see if I hit any issues with it, I never actually played warhead due to the first crysis always displaying at 24hz :D

Is everything up-to date directX wise? may be worth reinstalling it from the warhead install folder.
