Crysis warhead screen res problem

The default res on crysis warhead is 1024x768, so i went into the menu and changed it up to 1680x1050.
Once i clicked apply the mouse wasn't in line with the menu buttons, to click a button i have to go above and to the left of it. anyone know how to sort this?

I also had the same problem with this, I just had to run it in the res below, although I didn't really look into how to fix it properly.

Yeah, I had this too. It sorted itself out in the end, but came back when I started the game yesterday.

Try this -

The current workaround is, go to your Documents area, go to My Games, go to Crysis_WARHEAD Folder, open game.cfg in notepad and change r_Width and r_Height to your screens resolution. Then it will set the resolution and work great next time you run the game.

Apparently the recent patch has caused some **** ups.

I had same problem with DX10 mode after the patch but found you could set it OK first in DX9 mode.
