Ah a proper trailer with actual gameplay. That's the way to do it. Personally I can't wait to try the new vehicles. Especially the swamp boat(?)

Would like to see a 720p or higher one though

Yeah saw that, wasn't high enough. I'll wait for gametrailers or gamersyde, they're usually good quality and free

What does the resolution matter? We already know what the game looks like, its just to show off new vehicles and stuff!

Cos viewing low res action trailers on a high res screen is no fun and gives you a better perception of how the game will look and feel

Especially as they've said it'll run better. I was wondering if they'd toned down the graphics to achieve this, can't really tell from a low res trailer though.

looking nice, im hopeful about them saying that they aren't making it as linear as Crysis... perhaps much bigger levels with multiple fuzzy-ordered objectives? maybe im in danger of a let down if I start wish listing

They are actually going to call Medium 'high' and High 'very high' and so on in Warhead now. It won't change a thing graphical performance wise, but Cervat said one of the biggest things hurting Crysis were players' perceptions and feasibility of running it. It will cut down on a lot of bitching that people can't run their game on High.

Looks like I dont need to upgrade my gpu then if its that long away when that is out I'll be picking up a 4870 for like 50 quid

So there's no Very High anymore? And the performance advantages in Warhead are just Crytek renaming the settings not getting more out of the engine?

Very High is called Ultra High

There *are* performance enhancements, those are simply added on top of the existing changes.
