well after reading a few thread about how people enjoyed crysis it made me want to replay it

i'm just wondering are there any good graphics mods and good configs that will help me get the best aestheticsreformance out of the game?

It's what I used on my E8400 3Ghz, 8800GTS, 2GB RAM, Win XP. Worked pretty well.

Some claim to increase graphical quality but don't... the ingame settings are the best overall because they are completely balanced. What the mods do is have things close to you look a bit better than things further away look worse, so makes the screenshots they post look imba, but when you begin to notice how they achieved this without framerate hit (IE animated foliage popping into action, various shadows popping up) then you will realise its actually much worse. Of course you may not notice any of that in which you will get all moist looking at it

one mod, the one im using is a keeper, cuban ultima doom sword mod 1.31, tried a fair bunch of them and this is the best i could find, comes with custom config. (which somehow improves performance as well as visuals) and custom TOD files, proper sunrises on certain levels, etc, comes with exe. as well, pick it up here if your interested
