Crysis keeps using up all 4GB of my ram causing my comp to have a spaz, it never used to do it but I cant play it for long now as I run out of ram.

Any fixes, happened to anyone else?

Memory leak on the game? Have you reinstalled to see if that fixes it?

Yep all the time, i got about 30 mins of gameplay, then when you save it chucks you back to the desktop and saids that Crysis encountered an error.

it's abit like far cry 2 it's caused by a memory leak, it's freaking frustrating however uninstalled the game which solved my frustration

Have you got the page file disabled/set off by any chance?

It was known to have a memory leak problem, always used to crash on the last level, but the patches are supposed to have plugged it.

EDIT: Runs fine for me.

Same for me. Plays fine for a hours then it grinds to a slide show in quick time. After Alt-Tabbing out I could see it was using 5Gb of memory so I saved, quit the game then restarted it again and it was fine. Far Cry 2 was the same.
