Firstly I'll admit, I'm a noob. But this noob has just got Crysis 2. I know it's gunna strain my CPU as task manager says it's using 100%. My gfx card isn't too bad, but wondering what kind of settings I should be going for. I have windows 7 ofc and DX11...but should I run dx11 ingame, or does it demand more? specs are in sig :)

no idea why it isn't showing

AMD Athlon X2 240 @ 3.1GHZ - 4GB OCZ 1333MHZ 9-9-9-20 - MSI 460GTX 768MB @ 890MHZ/2105 - 640GB WD SATA2 - Coolermaster 460w PSU - Windows 7 Ultimate

no idea if ur cpu will be a bottleneck on higher settings or not.

im runnin a 460 768mb aswell with dx11 and the texture packs on extreme settings n its playing really well, but i have a i5 2500k to your athlon. .. might be fine, you should just run it and find out :D

That's strange.

Wasn't it reported that DX11 consumed around 1GB vram?

Is ultra after extreme or is extreme the highest setting?

How? lol

My FPS is crap on ultra, DX11 and High res particles (everything!)

I get full possible Fps on full with no DX11 or added graphics packs.

It depends, are you happy playing Crysis 2 at a low framerate then DX11 might be fine, if you hate a low framerate dx9 might suit you better.
