Are we likely to see any price drops for Gsync Monitors 1440p / 144hz this side of Christmas below £400? Even that non mentionable place for second hand is ending up in the 500's :(

I personally think demand is strong and possibly getting stronger for Gsync-enabled monitors, due to the (mainly) positive experiences that people seem to be having :)

Seen the Philips 272G5DYEB for £300 if it helps? Not a bad price but it's 1080p...

Yeh, I've got an 1080p Asus 144hz ( Non Gsync ), I purchased it because I could install the module at a later point. But Nvidia stopped doing Gsync modules

The dell offering seems to have dropped a bit since release. It does indeed seem to be gaining popularity as a technology.

Competition is growing but since there seems to be intentional stock shortages prices are still high, until we get an evolution to G-Sync (2.0) maybe with Pascal cards I can't see prices going down yet.

*Places crystal ball back in the drawer*

Can't see the price dropping - demand is strong - though might see a little bit more competition with the freesync updates coming next year.

I think you have got more chance of getting Crystal Balls over price drops and Gsync V2 is here now the ASUS PG279Q has it although its splitting hairs a bit as I dont think the actual method has changed much apart from working with 165mhz and HDMI.
