Crystal Palace go into Administration

Has this being confirmed by the F.A.?

Sky just mentioned this but then said that nothing has being confirmed.

Nope, there's a few coming, sad as it is with the amount of money in footy these days.

Surprised they didn't sell Moses, surely that would have stopped this happening. I feel sorry for the fans, but not for either Jordan or Warnock 2 of the biggest ***** in football.

Indeed.

Sky has ruined football in this country, the money they've put in to it and the way they hype it and market it annoys me (remember kids, it's the best league in the world) ;)

Bad news for any club - but not good enough news for Plymouth who suck this season, lol

Was hoping that Palace would become a relegation contender but reckon they've got enough to stay up :p

It is the best league in the world, and Sky didn't force clubs to spend beyond their means.

Even though the money problems Leeds had can be firmly laid at the feet of PR Pete, can I blame Sky?

How many teams is that this year then?

Palace, Chester, Darlington, Southend, Stockport?, Notts County?, how many more?!

I didn't realise palace were in such trouble - why haven't they sold moses if they're so short of money?

I don't think it's sky's fault - if a club is run unsustainably/badly then it's no one's fault but their own. Saying that I really hope palace survive as I've been to quite a few matches there and lots of my friends are palace fans.

I don't think it is Gilly (have said it before and being burnt down for it) but Sky aren't going to market their product as well "the second best league in the world" are they :p

Money has ruined football :)

Or more likely ITV Digital

For lower league clubs yes, they're still owed money from ITV Digital iirc lol

It's just popped up on SSN that Palace will be deducted 10pts by the Football League, that seems rather generous to me compared to what lower league teams have suffered.

I guess that means everyone will be looking at some of Palace's better players now.

Moses probably nailed on to move. Maybe Ambrose to another Championship club? I'd have him at Barnsley!

Reckon Victor Moses would move for less than £2m given that the administrators will be making the decisions?

He was already close to walking having not been paid.
