Hey lads,

Seeing as the server browser is full of these bloody fake servers I'm looking for some 1.6 server IPs. Ideally UK based

Classical Powerful Server

Both brilliant servers, low pings, nearly always full.....and mostly standard maps, win win

Sorry to bump this again but I really need some more servers. Strawhat is good but they have some dire custom maps that morons vote for so any standard map rotation servers would be nice.

I'd imagine they would be redirects, ones filled with bots or fake player counts.

Exactly. The majority of the servers within the 1.6 browser consist of such servers so you basically need to know the IPs of good servers. The 1.6 update for CS was Valve's platform for launching steam and the game itself gave the company a lot of online exposure so it's pretty lame they don't implement a fix. A lot of people still play it :/
