CS:cz help

I have recently installed CS: condition zero again via steam and seem to be having graphics problems.
All bullet marks, rain drop splashes, and light sources appear as a black squares. Although the lights seem to show correctly or not depending on your postion.
Would someone have any input into how i might solve this?

Screenshots would probably explain it better than I.

Mmm, is it on one map?

I can only suggest reinstalling or checking the integrity of game cache (right click in steam games window).

This happened to my Half Life 1 when i installed through steam, some light sources, and muzzle flash from my gun appeared as black squares. I don't know what caused it, I don't think it's doing it now though.

No it seems to be on every map its just most noticeable of aztec because of the rain splashes.
Ive now checked the cache and it seems fine.
I will try a re-install and see how that goes.
