If you have a compatible NVidia card, shadow play works pretty well. Although with you mentioning afterburner I guess you might not have one...

The only other one I've heard of is Dxtory, but I've never used it since shadowplay or fraps always seemed to work.

I had an AMD card.

I assumed that since it came identical in both recording software, its actually the game that is doing this, not the software, so I kept that recording and did post-precessing.

I uploaded 2 videos, and both are dark (without post processing).

Both clips have little/no editing to them, as I am trying to remember what I knew in Vegas. I did another clip that has some basic CC, and some basic syncing. Still need to upload it though.

In cs1.6 days I remember editing demos being a pain.

If I remember properly, Virtual Dub did a good job (if fiddly) of generating high res jpeg or png sequences from the demo playback.
Once VDub has done its stuff, you may have to use something like Quicktime Pro/Compressor/Adobe Media Encoder to get something usable for editing, as VDub will likely have made a huge sequence bin of jpegs or whatever.

Its the default dynamic one. Its the new one. You can't customize it except for the colour.

Haven't touched it since I re-started playing. I don't like the colour, but I haven't gotten round to changing it yet

Think I got demoted from silver 4 to 3, to my eternal shame. Im so bad, Im two from bottom
I can wipe out the entire team sometimes, mostly top of the scoreboard when we lose, bottom when we win; I guess that reflects badly

Been watching a bit of twitch tv, trying to emulate their rushing with a pistol and owning with headshots. Its not impossible, the hitboxes effect problem in cs go seems better then previous game, CSS was perfect on first release and couple years later it was insurmountable inaccuracy

enters into console just fine for me. Managed to get a totally fixed small cross -shocking pink, simple perfection dynamic is for noobs, I can judge the recoil for myself

MGE at the moment. Occasionally drop down to MG2. Highest I've been was DMG but only kept it for about 3 games haha. I tend to play with a mate who probably drags me up a rank though. Think I started out as a Gold Nova 4. When BF4 Dies and I start taking CSGO more seriously I'd like to be able to keep DMG or maybe push for baby chicken.

Is there a setting I can change to stop goofy hit reg client side, or is it just server sided? Its annoying shooting people and not getting the damage. For example I shot this guy with an AWP, can see the mark on him but he's still 100-100
