For AWPing, I need to MMB/side mouse button, and press the other side button.

I'll try with the alt, if it doesn't work, I'll just switch my controls.

what keyboard do you have? Some terrible keyboards would spaz out if you used more than 3 inputs at once.

For example, crouching + moving forward + voice chat would not work properly on shoddy keyboards

Its just a standard DELL keyboard

It might be what you said tbh. I don't know. I'll try and see what happens by playing with bots or something.

I think rank is a ok indication of how good you are, except it is a team game so you can get to a rank which has people that can aim well but have *&%@ team play and get stuck there, for example master guardian and distinguished guardian, I get stuck there as people have good aim but often the teamplay is not good so you lose the match, then eagle and the higher ranks people have similar aim but better teamplay. Top ranks people either cheat or have good aim and teamplay so I get pwned. K/D ratio is also not a very good indicator, depends how good your opponents are. For example on deathmatch I get about 50:10 every time, but if I played NIP I would get maybe 1:30.

I'm wildly inconsistent! Some days my aim is silver 1, others I'm getting called a hacker at MG2. Fortunately there's always the P90 for my off days.

Starting to win a few, but its more like 1 win 1 loss.

Can't be consistent. Its all down to the team you get. I can finish 4th and we win, and i can finish 1st by a mile and we lose.

Yes like what I said about having playing with good aim and &*%( teamplay, one time you come 4th and win and another you are 1st and you lose, once you get stuck at a rank it is hard to move up.

Same issue I have, hence why I don't bother with it and sit unranked. If I weren't playing on 3G and actually had a more useful latency, then I'd make even more of a difference and I wouldn't lose!

Once you're up to MGE/DMG the whole ranking system gets ruined by hackers and latancy/predicition anyway.

The only way to get near GE these days is to play religiously only with high ranking buddies really - or hackers.

If you play solo or in a friends list of mixed skill you stand no hope of getting much above DMG really, even if you're Heaton.

I haven't played against any hackers at MGE. I really don't think the are a problem until LEM at the lowest.

There is also people that have got to Global Elite playing solo, it is possible.

Had a couple of games last night after moving up to gold, it was so much better. More team work and the standard seemed far better. Felt more of a challenge trying to outwit people who knew what they were doing.

Any groups going on this? just starting out as i used to play a lot of source years ago, just had a competitive match and went 26/3 top of my team, winning almost every round for them and a few rounds in to our second stage as T's they vote kicked me for a laugh?

So looking for some legit comp play with no trolls please.

I was very underwhelmed by the beta but now I think it's a fantastic game. I know a lot of people complain about the netcode (128 tick v 64 tick servers etc) but I think it's the best choice for testing your skills online compared to the shambles that is BF4 for example.

There's an OCUK CSGO steam group but I'm yet to hear from anyone else in that yet.

I've recently just added people who were fun and friendly in previous comp matches and lobby up with them again.
