CS:GO Discussion

http://www.greenmangaming.com/deal-of-the-day/ use code SPOOKY-TREATS-GMG20X to get the complete valve pack (inc CS GO) for £10.

or use this code

SLICKD-EALS22-OFFGMG

and get it for £9.75

its all one key apparently

if you add it to an account which already has the games it doesnt give you a gift of the ones you already own you just lose those games

tempted to get a smurf, use this and buy cod from russia for £10

so theoretical question here.

27" 144hz monitor

or

24" 144hz monitor & FK1 mouse
How close to your monitor do you say? I stay quite close and 24" is just a bit too big. 27" will be overkill. But if you stay a decent distance away, I will go for the 27". You don't need another mouse anyway.
3 inches is massive. That's what I tell myself.

I had the same quandry. I went for a 24'' in the end. I sit a little further back than that as my desk is deeper but it feels OK. I was concerned that a 27'' would be too big, but others have said it would be fine.

I guess an idea would be to get down to a shop and put yourself in front of one.

I like my 24'', but on reflection I think I a 27'' would not have been a problem.

The thing that made my decision was reading about FPS gaming and eye movement / strain. The closer you are and the bigger the screen the more work your eyes have to do. I have read it can cause issues with reaction times too as depending on the setup, things may be in your peripheral vision on a bigger screen and your eyes have to then move to that area and re-focus etc.

Not sure how true any of it was but I found it compelling reading :)
