Competitive to me is playing in leagues and tournaments, where it's a competition. Match-making is what it is, match-making.

And K/D plays little to no factor at all in CS teams. Sure, killing a lot is good, but I'd rather have four players with me who can follow my strats and work together than 4 people that run around playing aggressively and doing nothing to help the team coordinate.

Think am just used to the numbers/buying on css

I use numbers to buy or just press f1 and it buys rifle/armour/kit

Yea me too, I find I can get a full buy pretty much as quick as those with binds using the wheel.

I just press B52 B42 B13 etc, then I use F5 for nade, F6 for flash, F7 for smoke and F8 for molotov.

@Buffet I'd suggest you come lay some games with us, competitive experience outside of CS is good for knowing how to communicate but that's about as useful as it gets. In Bf4 I am a top player, in CS I suck big time (cos no helis / boats)

Buy binds are not required.... Its not hard to just press the weapon on the wheel

True but just hitting a couple of keys is easier (IMO) for newer people to learn and therefore buy in MM quicker.

If you mean casual / DM etc then no not as far as I am aware. Most people play MM / Faceit / ESEA

Google is your friend....and they are two of the best known competitive CSGO non official matchmaking / leagues / tournaments. They have 128 tick servers unlike the 64 tick (tick = update rate) servers used in Valve MM.

There is that too ofc but Nikki pls, for brand new players I'd suggest binds over wheel as it is easier to learn, rather than learning your way around the wheel and then actually being quick at it. Or it could just be that I am old and this old dog don't learn new tricks

I definitely think you should start with the buy wheel. How else are you meant to learn what to buy when? With binds you have no idea of cost/damage/AP.

I think it all comes down to player preference and the keyb they have, no point arguing over it.
