NEVER bet against NIP :D

Got my silver, got my nip pick so all i need to do is pick the LDLC match correctly and then the tourney winner for gold again to go with my cologne gold.

Deffo LDLC and NIP for the final.

90% of the time there is a cheater in a competitive match imo
Nah, that is too much.
Read the reddit thread. Although there's no 100% hardcore proof there's a lot of evidence to suggest it.

Also explains why they forfeit.
I agree some of those clips are VERY dodgy, I find it hard to think that the Fnatic management forced them to cheat. This casts a bad light on the management if they did, because they can force players of other games to cheat, no?
NEVER bet against NIP :D
;)
clans have management ? it was hard enough to take competitive gaming seriously to begin with but this just takes it to new levels of cringe.

Yes, why wouldn't they? They earn hundreds of thousands yearly, so it would only be logical to have a team behind them. iBUYPOWER is a company who had a team just for exposure. They make their profits in other areas (it is a website like OCUK) but they use eSports for increased viewership. Most organisations have teams for other games too.

Ok, the top end of competitive gaming is still unbelievably cringworthy though, literally every video I've seen of top teams battling it out is like** Offensive comment removed ** I'm not talking specifically about counter strike btw

That isn't an overly pleasant thing to say, both towards the gamers and to autistic people...

If you don't like it, don't watch it! If earning reasonable money by gaming is cringe-worthy to you then so be it, no need for the autism comment.

I don't actively hunt down and watch these videos. People post them on forums laughing at them raging and being generally cringeworthy and This I've seen a few of them.

I don't really see how that's being rude to gamers. All I've said is that every video I've seen of high end competitive gaming has been painfully cringeworthy. Maybe if the people in the videos didn't act like** Offensive comment removed ** it wouldn't be cringeworthy...

Anyway I wouldn't expect my viewpoint to go down to well on a forum full of hardcore gamers.

Do you actually have any form of point? You've said you find it 'cringe', that's fine and i'm sure everyone here holds your opinion highly. You don't have to be an idiot and start throwing autism in there.

That's a pretty silly thing to say in a csgo thread on a gaming subsection of a PC hardware forum.

If you don't like it, don't watch it.

So you have watched a couple of 'cringe' videos that have been posted on forums and so you just think it's all 'cringe'?

As for managment, big money is involved for these top teams, not just in prize money but sponsors (aswell as multiple other things), who do you exspect to do all this work? If the players did it, they wouldnt be top teams because they would be too busy to acctually play.

LDLC looking strong after winning the first map inferno vs Na'Vi'. Also just got my first souvenir drop, bit naff the items in the inferno one, though well chuffed to get one. Not had one drop since Dreamhack 2013.

I was working at awkward times, so missed out on even placing two of my quarter final picks for the pick em, picked fnatic, then picked na'vi. Can't even get silver now ;_;

My highest betting item is an M4A1-S Blood Tiger... 80p :D Or rather was, lost it on VP v NiP... That throw on Nuke though :(
