Ill be on again about 1ish, I'm still unranked as spent all my time playing casual like a newb! But I do hold my own ok due to the 70ish hours of unranked play. If anybody else is on and either unranked or silver then feel free to add me.
Yesterday I had my 1st 5 man clear up and we were on a eco on dust2! will try and get the video up later of it, adrenalin was pumping after that lol

I'd say you need a team to get to DMG. The higher level you are the more common sense people seem to use. Also people listen as they want to protect their ranks.
When you play with mg1 or mg2 you get filled with Russian's who just do what they want.

Yes it does. If you go a few pages back, you can see some huge arguments regarding FaceIT vs MM.

^^^ As Nik says. It takes three matches for you to get ranked on Faceit. The problem with 3rd party servers is that leaving is easier and less punished which is a shame but having played faceit for a bit now I do feel it's an improvement over normal MM.
If there is any major issues aka griefers / leavers use the giant call admin button and get the match cancelled. Oh and to reiterate NEVER click on the play button when the match is sorted. Just above the play button it gives you the connect ip command, use that to avoid fps drops.

Yeah had no fps drops on Faceit here since connecting ingame to the ip.
Wish I had kept my 7 rank on Faceit, team ups have got majorly worse since coming down a few pegs. Going from eveyone communicating nice info and working together, to no communication and vague team work.

I'm usually very unlucky, so even a 14p griffin which normally costs 1.70+ is good.
