I will be on about pretty much most of today and tonight.

Maps I'm loving at the moment are:
Mirage
Dust 2
Inferno
Overpass
Nuke

I really need to be shown the ropes on Cobblestone and Cache although I have watched so many competitive matches on Cache now I think it will feel strangely familiar!.

One mission away now from completing all the weapon specialist missions, then think I will buy the extra mission pack to have a couple chances at a Dragon Lore. How much longer is this operation on for?

weapon drops can be ok. I dont think dust et al are normal dropped items so in theory its worth having as a prize though luck says you get the blues still

Is there a limit on the gap between ranks you can play with?

If not ill try and help out. I have a load more missions to complete anyway, so I will probably drop a few ranks when I start doing them So not worried about tanking my rank if we loose a game at low ranks.

Not as far as i am aware but for exAmple if a GN4 joins in wiht a silver 4 they may be put in a GN2 or most likely GN3 match.

As im silver elite and swaggy is silver 2 it should pitch us in silver 3/4 games I beleive

i think my rank might be too high to play with as i think there is a limit but i do have an unranked account which i can use instead.

Yes there is unless you have 5 and then there isn't. I think its 4 ranks.
