Its true why the hell don't they have their own servers. Is it because they don't like playing with other Russians? Well **** what exactly do they gain from playing the game, seems just griefing 90% of the time.
 
Played 5 games now, won 4 lost 1. Got promoted to Master Guardian 2. Yeah every game I've played in I've had russians. However only one of those games did they refuse to talk English at all and funnily enough that is the game we lost, although I didn't play great then anyway. Out of those 5 games there was only 1 English player using voice mic but I've found most are accommodating and speak English.
 
Russians have europe north and that gives them the lowest pings. They ban their own servers to come play europe west with 100 ping, if you see the enemy team like that its not a good sign generally
I played a team from Saudi Arabia once, like 150 ping. Just pure silly but they dont want to be matched up vs another team like themselves

Anyway I noticed one game the enemy wallhack got overwatched within 48hr. He was fairly obvious in chasing kills but not blatant, faith restored :p

I had the idea if you have 10 people, both queue on popflash and your'll get 128 tick game and downloadable demo and all that

Got smashed around a lot tonight, only won 1 out of about 6 matches. However in the last game, tired and fed up and down with a 9-15 score, I basically just played it like deathmatch, and just crushed them back, broke 30 kills for the first time and about 9 MVPs but game ended 14-16 to them, although I still left happy.
Much nicer playing with a group of people rather than randoms.
 
Biggest tip I can give for lower / mid ranks on T side. Be aggressive or if you aren't make sure you are always ggoing out behind the "entry fragger" and getting trade kills. Don't be afraid to die :D

Nah Joe getting smoked off in banana from 2 sides is where it's at, while blocking the **** out of eachother.

played 3 matches tonight and won them all, last one was only 3 in a team and was on office and started off badly but pulled it back for a 16 - 10 win :)

on a streak of 5 wins now :)

still got my rank of MG 2 as well so happy to keep it lol

ping was 100 - 200 like a yoyo last night so was difficult to adjust to a high ping of 200 when it would drop to 100 and the same in reverse.

offer in on another property though so fingers crossed.

edit.. Getting a FK2 tomorrow to replace my dying Ec2-Evo. Nothing wrong with the Ec2 design it's just that they aren't meant to be smacked against tables when I'm raging my **** off..oops

I used to whack my head on the big old CRT monitors when I first played CS. Aol dial up vs people on cable will do that though.

Was amazed to read South Africa government controls their CS esports teams, without paying a tax their world cup team excluded all top 10 of their teams. Bad but the UK has no entry at all :o bring back onscreen

Apparently was a sure fire bet for this morning, sorry I didnt say anything now but its only ever 100% in retrospect 16-1 etc All the gear I would have to bet on stacked odds is covered in stickers, so didnt bother

whats the dmg - LE jump like? seemed to take forever to go from MGE - DMG.

Congrats, the ranks get steeper or more spaced out the further away from the core you get and the rank itself is describing a greater range of skills.
This might be roughly right 8% get to DMG

Depends how good of a streak you get. I managed to go from DMG to LEM in under 2 weeks because I had a streak of really good games, I know some others who've been DMG for months.
