as said above, apart from the BO3 being the final i thought it was a well run tournament overall.

coverage was good and viewing figures was good.

Its good for the game and someone recently announced a 1.5million csgo prize pool. its creeping up. i dont think it will ever hit the dizzy heights of DOTA but its on its way up at least.

got one inferno drop which i got a nova out of but the inferno drops are one of the worst anyways.

16-2 is not a clutch, its a stomp.

MLG pulled it out of the bag for this tournament, it was exceptionally well run and more importantly allowed CS to be itself, by not conforming to the usual ESL bs. (who incidently appear rattled as their **** talking on twitter hard)

The allstar game was a snooze, but the commentary more than made up for it.

Well got my Gold Pick`em trophy

was apparently the top 2% global rank.

Sadly got screwed a bit on the Player Pick`em only got bronze on that.

Im glad it wasnt BO5.
Thats up to about 7 hours of CS if all maps play to full term. I cant handle that for 1 game.

Can you imagine bo5 with ot10, some of the games could have pushed 10 hours.

I've always wondered, when folk are playing do they specifically collect certain skins or is a case of opening cases / buying on market with whatever is going?

For me, I always try to buy factory new items (mainly statracks). I only opened one box and got crap so didn't bother with that anymore. I just rely on selling items in drops at the end of each match.

Collection so far

All Statracks except for USP-S Torque, SSG-08 Abyss, AWP Worm God, Desert Eagle Meteorite and M4A4 Griffin but all Factory New.
