Never liked this game when I had access to the beta, but eventually everyone I knew moved onto it from Source so I went for it when it was on sale. Safe to say it has grown on me now :D

Add me if you like, I'm not that great but it would be better to play with decent people rather than the 5 year olds and russians.

There is a reason. I went to /r/recruitcs on reddit, and asked only for Gold Novas + to add me. Reason is that if I play with lower ranks they will not have fun as they will always die vs master Guardians, and if they are much higher, it won't be fun for me.

Baby steps. :D :D :D I started at Silver 4. Improvement is always good tthough. Try reading through some guides, like this one http://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffen...for_all_the_new_players_csgo_beginners_guide/ (very long. I didn't read it coz I played Source and 1.6, so I knew some stuff). try and watch pros play, and try and improve your nade play. http://www.operationl2p.com/ has some very good nade/smoke spots, along with callouts. Try get your sensitivity and crosshair done. http://www.krisskarbo.com/csgocrosshair

Added everyone who asked.

This is my process.

Add person -> Add nickname (OCUK/Reddit) -> *wait till he accepts* -> Tag As CS:GO Player -> Tag as OCUK -> Add Nickname (RankGoesHere)

If I don't know the rank, I'll just leave it empty then check once they go on CSGO. The reason I put the rank in brackets is so that if I play with a bunch of MGEs, I don't invite a Gold Nova 1 and vice versa.

Finally got some more guns to bet with. I've also found the sweet spot for my gun model position. I always thought that the default CS:S/CS:GO model was too far to the right, i've made it so it's more centred and lowered the gun bob down too. Much, much proffer this to the default one.

Anyone fancy a game later? I have returned to CS:GO after many years not playing and I'm really enjoying it. Ranked silver IV which I appreciate is lower than most of you but I'm finding it really difficult to win games. I have got over 100+ points a number of times last night and today but still find myself losing. Today 2 players on our team got kicked after the 3rd round for TK'ing and we still ended up drawing 15/15.

Got a 24 hour ban because I disconnected from a game. Got this weird thing that my internet stops working for about a minute when the rain starts. Normally comes back, but I had to restart my modem not once but twice for it to come back. Lost out by less than a minute!

I'll play some altpug.
 
My team mates just kept walking infront of me whilst I am shooting. Now I got kicked and have 30 minute cooldown...
