Yep. Well, I assume it is VAC safe. Still, you play in their servers, not official servers. If anyone joins the server who doesn't have the altPUG client (and logged in) he gets automatically kicked. It serves as an anti-cheat program too though.

Well after installing it on a different drive and deleting my old install, its doing the same

Counter Strike: Source is obviously the winner out of the two, but CS:GO isn't a "horrible game" to be honest. Yes, it does fall behind even though it's newer, but it's still a good-ish game

Yea that video is irritating, the crosshair isnt even over the person who died. no doubt they cursed your name for that. Just reminds me of times the enemy is drawn in around the corner only after I die, nice of the game to show me afterwards like playing chess by post or something drunk lag could have put you in sync

Until I and everyone on the server is on fiber optic it'll never be perfect but cs-go is less esoteric then previous versions and the match making works so I have to conclude its the best version so far. I only reluctantly bought it in jan sales, personally I preferred beta guns, etc but overall its hit every spot.
