CS:GO Discussion

In comes Stu

Out goes Prox!

This rule is stupid. Can we have an infraction rather than a straight suspension?

No swearing be it text, image or video is permitted on the forum.

Depending upon the user history and the nature of the swear word in question then a warning, infraction or suspension will be issued. Certain swear words carry an automatic suspension. Do not swear.

If anyone has an issue/complaint or question, then contact a member of the moderating team for an answer.

I understand the rule and why it is there. Just sometimes I feel that a small nudge might be more useful than a ban. Sometimes, a swear word slips in a picture/video which you didn't notice about, and you get stung. Personally, I never get caught. I always manage to noticed before I post (or just after), although once someone did PM me because I did a typo, and a swear word was not automatically starred out.

You get suspended for that now rather than the vid just being removed????? w0w

I got away with murder in the BF3 forum back in the day.

Also I have 2 x Master Piece M4A1-S's now. The one I got for £30 the other day is now worth £40 xD

Its funny I paid £11.99 for CS:GO and people are spending £40 on a gun skin.

FORTY POUNDS for ONE skin...

Yeah crazy right? One of my mates has a skin that £200+ Sure there more expensive ones too

I like skins but not that much

Fade knifes FN sell for 500+..... Moe, shroud anything etc have over 2k worth of skins maybe even more.

Do you mean £500? I think I would have a new motherboard, CPU and Graphics card personally for £500.

Yea... Most of the guys I mentioned above have awesome pcs anyway.. And the skins they have are usually donated or purchased with donations...

Moe just got sponsorship yesterday and was given a 3 grand pc.

Cash to splash plus I've been really lucky with skins. The one I bought for £30 (with money from sold skins) I could now sell for £45 and I'd imagine shortly even more as there are only 50 Master Piece's left on the market in any condition.

Lol, try $4k (yes, $4,000) mate.

Rumor says that the most expensive CS:GO knife was sold for $16,000. There is no real proof though. There is proof that one knife was sold for $4k though (not that I saw the proof anyway...)

just check this site for how much items are currently selling for.

according to my research. the most expensive trade was for a StatTrack M9 Crimson Web in Factory New Condition. a smidge under $24,000

According to reddit, that was photoshopped :p I think that was the knife that sold for $4k.

StatTrak Karambin Crimson Web FN should be the most expensive skin. Sadly, none were unboxed yet.

24k 4k.

its all the same. haha, my most expensive skin is worth about 50p. im sure a 4k knife isnt going to make me an instant pro.

on an unrelated subject. 144hz screens, anyone use one? think it makes that much of a difference above 60hz?

or does anyone use a 21:9 monitor and would recommend it?

Yes, a 120Hz+ monitor with low input lag does make a difference. G-sync probably wouldn't benefit you all that much. Motion blur reduction features would probably bring more benefit to CSGO.

I have a 144Hz currently @ 120Hz lightboost and a 60Hz monitor next to it. I have tested putting GO / BF4 on both screens and now I could never go back to 60Hz, it seems stuttery in comparison.
