Guys I am almost ready to order a BenQ XL2411Z. I am kinda sad that I will be replacing my gorgeous IPS panel though :(

Should I go for it? Are 144hz monitors that much better for CS:GO?
 
Depends how serious you are about CS. Its good for other games as well but only fighting games/fps really.

I was going to swap out my 1440p 27" for a 144hz 24" but I realised I'm not that serious about it.

To be honest yes. I've gone from a dell 3011 to a rog swift and the difference is fairly noticeable.

I was hesitant at first as I really dislike TN panels and my IPS dellwas calibrated for photography use by the mrs so colours were astoundingly good.

The transition for me wasnt as bad as I expected. The swift is easily the best tn panel I've ever used and whilst not as good as the IPS it does fairly well.

For me the thing that really highlights how good it is is when I play the odd game at work on a 60hz panel. Going back to 60hz after just makes you winder how you coped before.

Rog Swift is awesome but I can't really justify spending that much on a TN monitor. The Benq XL2411Z should be good enough.
 
Been running my 144hz for about a month now and am in love with, when I had to revert to 60hz when I was had to rma a graphics card it was like torture to my eyes! Definatley couldn't be without it now. I dare say it has also improved my game not massivley but enough to make a difference. The 144hz comes alive when playing racing games!
 
Had to rubbish defeats in a row now, can feel a derank coming. First defeat playing with two new people and lost 16-5, second defeat 16-0 on Nuke playing against total wallhackers one of who was vac banned mid match.
 
The hz difference is about 10ms, I think nova rank has bigger problems elsewhere. I swear most of my games resemble silver now, 60 is slow though

I guess they are your bets and you have been betting pretty decently?
