That coupled with the fact there wasn't any rage because the rest of the team were not as good as him.

I'll be on tonight if anyone who is around silver/nova fancies a game? I signed on TS before but there were 5 people in the match channel who I didn't want to disturb, and nobody else was on so was pretty quiet.
 
nothing m9 but if you behave yourself tonight i will not flashbang awp kill you and then get my knife out.

It'll take you to Eagle in 10 games. Someone here I think said they never played CS before and ended up eagle just like that :eek:

The very first game given is silver. -> novas, MG, higher ranks if you win each unranked game.
Some pro players do this on stream, I guess any who do those 5x max bets needs several accounts.
Steel was just running through mirage knifing people at dbl MG rank. Everyones a silver to someone :o

Yea I was talking about CT rushing, actually had a game we rushed with p2000 into inferno spawn exit vs their rifles and killed the entire team. Shouldnt work vs decent ranks really, the tek9 is better on the move then any other time no point standing with it

I agree also I prefer fade to purple but probably like the slaughter pattern most, not sure which is officially best :p

I'll add you so I can quickly invite you. USually about 20 seconds before they start next map with 1 person missing when Im in a good lobby. Nobody amazing, people I was queuing with were silver four a fortnight ago and now nova 3, they just acting well, can use an awp or whatever. Really nothing outstanding to rank up, the d2 strat was always skip B site which I like but Im sure you shouldnt be able to get away with it for 15 rounds, whatever works :D
Silver is just a mire, its either way too easy or people using wallhack or just a team that doesnt speak the same language or they wait in a corner (after losing a few rounds) with an expensive gun while other people die, then venture out and die alone. Not really a proper match, if you are really fed up go play on usa servers as they do talk at least

I play most of the main maps; Dust II, Inferno, Mirage, Cache, Overpass, Cobble & Nuke although I prefer not to play nuke / mirage without my usual guys as the are technical maps and not knowing how to smoke off A site mirage can be a real PITA.

Hi all,

I've recently got back into cs since not playing it since source. I've just completed my first ten wins so can do competitive now. My question is how do I know when I am near to ranking up? Is there a ladder? (I've come from starcraft and lol so am used to looking at ladders etc.)

How do I get added to a cs:go group to play with other ocukers? I am in silver 4 at the moment.
 
No rule/ladder to rank up. Play well and win and you rank up, lose and you rank down, it's all rather arbitrary.

When I'm back at the desk top I'll add you to the ocuk group/pm you the team speak details if no one list them in the meantime.
 
you don't know how close you are to ranking up or to loose your rank.

I lost a match and de ranked to silver and then won the next match and was back on gold nova 1
 
Well played 2 last night. We were winning 11-4 as CT on Mirage then pee'd it all away to lose 16-12. One round we were commited to A at 4 v 2 in our favour, we had all smoked and flashed bar one "Jordanian" guy who was in palace with myself. I asked him to smoke A/ Jungle so we could push out against the guys with m4's in CT and Jungle.

He did nothing (he understood and had been speaking english btw), so i told him politely but forcefully to use the smoke and where... still nothing except looking at me mini strafing. I told him to throw the god damn smoke.. he throws his AK at me then the smoke at me and rushes in with pistol. We decide to push in as we have no option now and not enough time to rotate and they murder us all. So so mad.....

2nd game we Won 16-12 on Nuke, 1st half as T 11-4 again then when we switched to CT it went all to pot and the 2 randoms on our team started playing like muppets. i carried the team so hard that map but I was starting to lose the plot as we went from 14-4 to 14-12 before we finally won.

CS:GO is genuinely going to break me at the moment if things don't change. last 8 games are 1 win 1 draw 6 losses.

If anyone GN4 or above has a space free tonight after about 8pm I really need some structured and sensible games to restore my sanity more than anything
