Isn't it via item switching?
Kind of similar to the old scam from Diablo 2, where they would place a similar looking item in its place quickly?

I think i'll die as N4. 3 wins , followed by multiple ties then losses. Sigh..

It's all to do with the individual rounds one and lost not games. If they are close games you won't rank up.
toxic chat is one thing - I can live with that as I can give as good as I get but it's the toxic game play that's killing the game, at least for me.

How does the match making work in this game? Is there any way to set regions or join English speaking servers or anything like that? I've just reach rank 3 playing casual and i don't think i have ever been on a team with English speakers. Its just Russians arguing constantly, so bloody annoying! I might just give up on it honestly
Best to find some mates to play with honestly and queue together.
Otherwise it's very hit and miss. At the higher ranks it's not as bad as most people will at least communicate a little.

Won the first 6 rounds easily, all over them, I was 12-0.
Then like a switch we just could not win, 2 of the other team magically became awesome.
KD went to 15-8 or something like like that.
Final score for first half was like 9-6 to them. : (((
Pulled back the last round win with a beautiful nade and molotov combination.
Thankfully we just scraped the pistol round (1hp team mate
) and that gave us a few rounds.
Was a ridiculously hard fought match but we just scraped ahead in the end to secure the win.
Not sure if one of my team started cheating though (watching him on killcam, he seemed to know where someone was in a very illogical place, though he claimed he heard him).
Enjoyable game, but it was hard having 3 foreign people that barely spoke and quickly lost heart if they lost two rounds in a row.

find friends to play with or forget it.
Download the CSGO MM server selector, then set it to EU West has helped me with getting less Russians. You'll still get Eastern Europeans but they will generally speak some English.

This. I put my FN Vulcan on sale last night out of pure rage and kept all my 15 dollar and under skins (my logic was why having something this expensive is a waste). I woke up this morning and took it down as rash decisions are never good. But it is something I am definitely considering doing now.

That's my feeling recently, I haven't been able to play for the past 3 weeks due to a new baby. I feel I need something to play but not sure I miss CS due to the horrendous other people that play it. Real shame as it's a cracking game when played in the right way.

ah cheers! Just did a bit of reading up on the rank progression system. Hard to be MPV or win rounds with solo queue. Its very much like a lottery.. you loose most of the times but win a few. On the plus side got my first ace yesterday
