CS:GO Discussion

Had an evening set aside for a nice MM session to hopefully push to global for the first time ever.

Turns out VM are having issues locally, and where my connection is stable, it's a constant 125ms.
Managed a full team with friends for a game and top fragged against 4 GE's and one Sup, some questionable spray downs however with the high ping :p

How has everyone found the SMFC > GE push? I've read stories of people winning 3/4 games are hitting supreme and getting there, but also horror stories with people comparing it to the LEM > Supreme push!
 
Don't understand why the CS:GO API is such trash compared to Dota 2 which can report back every single action in the game.

I really want a tool that will let me look through my past matches like Dota Buff for CS:GO.

How many games did you play at LEM level before going to Supreme TommyV?
 
Probably me , but seems like my shots are not getting registered. Is any one experiencing change in game play since last update? I looked at net_graph but don't see any loss.

i have felt the same since the last update.

i haven't been playing much lately and when i do the reg seems worse than normal
 
Had one poor game last night, ping was under 60, but it was a laggy fest. Came back from 9:0 to win 16:14.

Second game was better though it took ages to get a match even for dust2,inferno etc. Ping wasn't great, but more playable. Really really tough match, but we pulled away nicely thanks to winning both pistol rounds and capitalising on them. They were all Legendary eagle/Legendary eagle master (I'm DMG). Hopefully that means I'm near a rank up!

DMG vs LEM is a pretty epic gap to fight, in a solo queue ? mucho resultado for winning that
The biggest uneven teams mm could line up would be an all DMG side vs 2 Globals, 1 LEM rest DMG

The best drops Ive seen rarely imo are the Lake shiny blue dualies, Train bling tec9 and Nitro M4A1
I managed to end up swapping my hyperbeast M4 for an Awp Worm skin, was a really bad bet where the aussie team beat Hiko's squad which have been improving fast; the final was at 2am is a major factor I guess. Im taking it as a sign to practise awp a lot more, Im upto about 50 kills in comp total now :p

any issues with steam and cs tonight? played a few matches with out problem and the last one i played maybe 40 mins ago got kicked with some message about not being able to connect to vac maybe internet problem and i wouldnt be able to play on secure servers rebooted etc same problem and got a 30 min cooldown but was able to join a deathmatch game without any vac error?
 
I started this game about 5 days ago, entirely new to it, and I played 10 ranked's and got into Master Gaurdian 2, unsure if that's considered good. But i'm getting used to it, found out I work better with an awp overall, and gun I tend to klutch with is m14 haha

That's as good as you can hope to be if you're entirely new to the game, so well done!

If you're new or don't put much time into the game then anywhere in the nova range is fine I think. Getting MG means you probably normally play some FPS games.
