CS:S Fps Thread

1024x768 is fairly low. 1280x1024 is the standard benchmarking resolution. I think he meant that CS:S can only use HDR on some maps so post your FPS for those. The thing is that a lot of people with the latest graphics cards and conroes or similiar cpus will be getting the 150fps max. Even on my 9800Pro it was running with HDR on at 30ish FPS. Lost Coast at max settings on my 7600GT and P4 3Ghz was getting around 50ish. Haven't tested with my E6300 yet.

Why not start off the thread with your own results though?

LOL

i get 40 - 60 fps with every thing on low and with a fps config on (im bulding new pc so i wanna know what fps every one gets and the spcs lol )

You need a reference point for those numbers or they are meaningless - even my old old rig could get 100fps in CSS if I was staring at a wall...

Doing the lost coast stress test on 1280x1024 with all settings at max I get 194.7 FPS, machine spec as in sig...

I'm not going to run at resolutions like that, as I'm staying native and just ran a quick blast of the stress tests.

CS:S 1920x1200 4xAA/8xAF and set to Best Image Quality, v-sync set as 3D application controlled with HDR full. Gamma AA and Trans AA Supersampling on everything High appart from water which I've always prefered just to reflect world. 105fps.

Lost Coast same settings as above, 60fps.

System: XP Pro, AthlonXP3200+, Abit NF7-S, 2GB PC3500, 7800GS+, Audigy2 ZS.

On the video stress test (not lost coast) I get 271.85 fps.

Thats with 16x AF, 4x AA, 1280x1024, Image setting high quality, High textures, high models, reflect all, full HDR, etc. etc.
