CS:S Help

Hi all

My Steam had quite a few bugs/errors. So i uninstalled it completely, and reinstalled it.

I installed HL2, and then CS:S. I spent 3 hours updating it, and then i get problems!

Basically, the game fails to reach the main menu. I get the loading screen of CS:S, but as soon as its finished loading, my screen goes black

I have to ctrl+alt+del to get out of this black screen

Any ideas please?

edit: Before anyone suggests, i've already searched on Steam forums

I cant try HL2 or HL2 dm yet as they havnt Fully updated, theyre gonna take a while aswell

Ok, after searching the web, i discovered it could related to VIA chipset drivers. I just updated mine. I'm reinstalling CS:S and gonna update it.

Other than that, i dont know whats going on?
