Okay so i downloaded CS Source a while back and it works fine on my brothers/sisters Desktop. However, it wont run on my Laptop.

1.73 Pentium M
512mb Ram
100gb hdd
xp pro

Would upgrading to 1.5gb/2gb ram allow CS Source to run on my lappy??

Thanks

What do you mean it doesnt run? What does it do exactly? The ram shouldn't be that much of an issue.

Oh and what is the Graphics Card?

Oh and what is the Graphics Card?

Doesnt load.

Its a 128mb Intergrated intel card. (shared with the ram)

So i thought if i increase the ram.. i'd be able to get slightly better graphics.

Oh well I don't know a great deal about intergrated cards. If it is shared, that's not a lot of RAM, but we already know this.

When you say it doesn't load, you dont get a menu or anything? No errors? If you don't get anything, then I doubt it's your RAM. I used to play similar games on 256mb RAM :p It was a nightmare, but they at least loaded.

I get nothing whatsoever :(

Then it isn't a RAM issue, dont bother upgrading that. I don't know ANYTHING about intergrated cards, but I'd be very very tempted to say that is the issue, I'm pretty sure of it. Sorry mate :(

That lappy would be more suitable for playing cs1.6 rather than cs:s. Is that available to you with your cs:s package on steam?
