Nothing to do with the game, but has anyone had someone try and add them to their Steam friends list with the user id of

Admin@ValveSteamID4612

Or something along those lines.

I'm sure valve admin would not just go around adding people for no reason.
I'm sure I have read on here before about someone like that adding them and then asking for their account details.

lots of people do this, happens to me at least twice a week now

on the steam website, it states that valve do NOT use there friend service as a contact system, only through email and telephone.

so anyone trying to be admin on the friends list is just a scammer, delete it and never give any password or details out, no matter how convinceing they are.

when i add just to **** them off, they spam stuff like "if you do not give your username, passowrd within 30 mins your steam account will be closed for good"

Yep what agnes said. Steam will NEVER contact you through Friends so anyone that does it will be a scammer. Could add them and have a laugh at their expense.
