when you peeps start editing pics in cs2, is their a set order you follow or is it dependant on individual pic properties ?
ie would you levels b4 sharpening or stauration b4 resize........god now i'm totally

I generally just look at a photo and see what it needs doing to it, see what jumps out at me, and then I just make adjustments based on that.

No particular order or set routine.

:D here's 1 more to convince you its a good buy nazbit :D

i do everything before resizing. sometimes resizing can soften the effects of sharpening ehich produces a nicer finish :)

i think once you know how to use photoshop well, you will just get a pattern. but seeing as you are asking i tend to do it this way...

levels > shadows / highlights > curves > contrast if needed > sharpen > resize

but i dont think it makes a big difference tbh, but hey i'm self taught so maybe there is a best way :D ;)

ALWAYS sharpen after resizing, i.e. right at the end of the workflow, unless you are using sharpening tools to increase local contrast.

If needed I would always remove noise first then things like levels/curves with sharpening done last (I read somewhere that some effects can get distorted slightly if you sharpen first)
