Hi Guys,

I have just purchased the full version of CS3 Master (ouch!), but have just used the serial on my trial edition (i bought the trial dvds before i went the whole hog...) to make it a full version...

however, the retail box has no less that 4 application installation dvds (along with a content dvd), when the trial only has 2... i have however got all the software on and all it working fine with the retail serial etc.

so my question is, should i uninstall everything and use the 4 dvds (+ content dvd) from the retail package? what else will it offer from its 2 extra dvds that i dont already have?

I think the 2 extra DVDs will most likely contain sound loops and dvd templates for Audition, Soundbooth and Encore.

In work we bought Final Cut Studio 2 and it came with nearly 30GB worth of sound loops!

well, i mainly use photoshop, illustrator, flash, fireworks and indesign... so are you saying that the extra 8 gig of stuff wont benefit these?

if that extra stuff is content, then what is the actual "content" dvd?

the only reason i'm really asking this and not just trying to see for myself is that i hear that adobe software has a real issue with overwriting trial versions with real ones, you have to use file cleaners and stuff so it works... i'm trying to establish is i will gain anything worth having by installing with the 4 official dvds vs the content i got from the 2 trial dvds... since i'm pretty sure just installing it over the top will cause issues, it will mean uninstalling etc which takes forever and a day...

so... you see where i'm coming from? also i only have a 120GB hdd and space is precious...
