Hi Folks

Someone I know is wanting to sell his CS4 Sealed not been used but it for PC. He is letting me have it for £200. I dont think it will install on a Mac with it? Someone said about getting intouch with adobe to get it transferred to a mac and how this done?

No, it won't install on the mac. You will have to email adobe support to see about having the license changed.

As Immsy has said, you won't be able to install it but Adobe may be kind enough to transfer the license over for Mac use.

If you have access to Bootcamp it could be more beneficial (baring in mind CS4 is 64bit on Windows, which can't be said for the Mac).

*assuming Adobe tells you to do one*

They're pretty good when it comes to transferring licences over like that. A guy at work bought a Mac Pro to replace his PC and was able to get CS4 swapped over for no charge.
