I have had my panny g3 for a couple of years now
I still have the kit lens that came with it (14-42) and a 14mm prime

looking for a zoom now and have spotted this at a good price

http://www.wexphotographic.com/buy-...sph-ois-black-micro-four-thirds-lens/p1531831

but they have also just brought this out

http://www.wexphotographic.com/buy-...-6-lumix-g-vario-asph-ois-lens-black/p1560299

its a fair bit more cash...but this lens is very small (collapses down to just 5cm) its smaller than the 14-42 kit to be honest so was thinking I would no longer need to carry it about..this way I could leave the zoom on and pocket the small prime

but then they also do this one

http://www.wexphotographic.com/buy-...sph-power-ois-micro-four-thirds-lens/p1538073

which is a whole lot more money but I would in theory only need the one lens
or to really confuse me Tamron do 14-150 at about 350 quid which covers all bases but means no optical image stabilisation

general use is just when I am out walking..nothing specialised, I just want a little bit more reach

just noticed the 45-175 X lens (internal power zoom, the lens doesnt extend when zoomed)
has come down massively in price since it was launched

can be had for 300 quid..it gets good reviews
