Anyone else have a

~library/launchagents/[email protected]

file despite not being signed up to mobileme ? it's generating junk entries in a log file in ~library/logs about an invalid username @me.com whenever I log in.

Have you had a trial of Mobile Me, or has someone you know logged in to Mobile Me on your machine?

Perhaps a permissions repair would fix it, or just open Mobile Me in system preferences and check there isn't an example address in there by mistake :)

I've checked timemachine backups and it was there on the original install, I've reinstalled since as well.

Zipped it up for now and it's stopped.

No address in the mobileme pref pane.

Grr.

Any of you using 10.5.6 discs ?

Reinstalled OS X from scratch, it's not there.
Installed ilife, it's not there.
Installed 10.5.7 from comboupdate, it's not there.

I've yet to run software update but I'm beginning to think this is an artifact from the setup assistant, it didn't bug me about signing up to mobileme this time because I claimed I wasn't connected to the internet, that's the only difference in how I ran setup that I can think of.
