CSGO - almost laggy?

When I play, the game doesn't feel smooth at all. It regularly goes from 200 fps to 90-120 and feels really juddery. Quite hard to explain!

I have a Vega 56 and admittedly, not the best CPU - FX 8350 with 16gb RAM.

The 8350 is fine with every AAA game around, but struggles in CSGO? Am I missing a trick here as to why the performance is pants? Currently gaming at 1080p at max settings. Thanks in advance!

hi mate, i had issues with this too..the cool cats on this forum helped me through it with various settings..have you messed about with the setting in the "Radeon Settings" software? like any specifics?

I, like you, have done nothing to the Radeon settings. Just had a tinker as suggested in your thread and am awaiting an update to download (apparently BR CSGO???) then I will test. Thanks pal!

I have just tried to play the game as per the settings in rip-the-jackers thread and now it just crashes to desktop.... does anyone else have any ideas?
