CSS Demo Player?

CSS doesnt have a demo. You need to buy half life 2 to get access to CSS.

To the OP, there is a key combination you press, like CTRL+F1 to bring up a control panel to choose speed, rewind etc while playing demo's back.

There isn't a standalone demo player for CSS :( basically just use fraps when playing back a demo to record the footage :)
 
I dont know how it works, but i dont think you can rewind CSS demos, im not sure how it works, but nto being able to rewind means the demo can be a few mb rather than a few hundred.

You can play demos in CSS by typing 'play <insert file name>' and then use fraps to record it.

Being able to rewind wont affect the size of demo files.

I know CS1.6 has a full rewind / pause / slowmotion option, that's using the command 'viewdemo xxx.dem', but don't think it was ever ported to CS:S unfortunately.
