CSS FPS with ATI?

Hi there, i dont know if its the latest drivers but FPS in CSS seems far down.

Running at 2xaa 2xaf high textures high models etc, average settings, it keeps dropping right down to 30-40 when looking over any distance, do any of you have any tips of what settings to tweak or any good cvars to use?

(I am using an X800XL and A64 3500+ 1gb of RAM).

does it happen on all maps?
make sure HDR is disabled.

It will happen on large maps anyway. A lot of it is down to the server.

Oh i think i found part of the problem, aa and af were set at 8x and 16x at driver level!

It's a extremely cpu intensive game, i tweaked my config to reduce cpu load and improved performance a lot.

my 1900xt is'nt even awake during css
