css help - having two different h1 styles?

Is this possible? I want for example:

generic header 1 > centered, size 32

advert block > header 1 > centered, size 24

or should i just use different headers? eg h2?

edit - also, how do you remove the amount of line spacing and so on around a header tag? For example, h1 always drops a big line break after it, making things look untidy.
