CSS hover IE probs

Hey peeps

Jeez i hate IE, I think the entire web-design community should rebel and only develop to correct standards so everyone is forced to use firefox and then Microshaft will get the bloody idea

right, my css menu works fine in FF but i'll be damned if i can work out why it wont in IE...

it is a three tier flyout that i have modified from the one on AListApart: http://alistapart.com/articles/horizdropdowns

Not really a help but i'd suggest using lots of blinking text in the design

Actually that scrolling text kind of "flickers" on my screen...

IE7 doesn't even let you open the second tier, let alone the third :/
It disappears before you can mouse over it.

And you cant access (ie click) on the 2nd tier in IE6, let alone the 3rd tier.

EDIT:

3 hours at the pub, plus United losing to Copenhagean (sp?) equals crap post, sorry.

It works in Safari if that helps lol. But the text at the bottom is screwed.
