Iv recently bought css, and hate it!
could i somehow reset the key and sell it on the bay?

If somebody were to buy it from you, they would have to get valve to manually remove the key from your account and putting it on an account for the buyer.
If CS:S is the only thing you have on the Steam account, you can just give the buyer the Steam account details instead.
