Hi guys

There's this old map called knas_speedcastle_css that me and my brother always play

Not sure when, but one of the updates to CSS seems to have broken the floor texture. It now appears see through for both of us.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to go about fixing this in the map? Doesn't matter if we create our own bespoke map for it to work

I've got the bsp file and unpacked that to get the vmf file. Both are in here

If anyone fancies fixing it, I would appreciate it, or can someone tell me where to start.

I just want to fill the floor of the castle bits with a generic ground texture

Thanks

What you need to do is download the Source SDK and use the mapping program bundled with that - Hammer World Editor.

Google / Youtube tips on setting it up for CS:S (only a couple of changes) and then open up the .vmf file within it. From there, from what I remember, you should be able to replace all surfaces with a certain texture in the entire map, with another one. So effectively it could be a very simple job to do.

Alternatively, have you looked on fpsbanana (assuming that it's still running?) to check if an update has been uploaded to that already?
