It just no longer works.

Steam do not trust customers, so if you can no longer afford internet, move somewhere with no access or lose access for a while...

Your game goes with it..
 
The only way I can get it to work is by unplugging my network cable (before wireless), though I haven't tried it with wireless yet.

Oh, and add me to your friends list :D
