Css has been running a bit dodgey for a while, I have no idea what is causing it, i reformatted thinking windows was to blame, but nothing.
When css first came out i was getting 90-100 fps constant, and about that in the stress test. 1280x1024 high details no aa & af, although it would cope with aa & af
but now, i have had to lower settings to low & at some points in the game I hit 30fps and lower. fps starts at 100+, but as soon as fighting starts it plumets... is this updates from valve?, is my comp somehow maraculasly showing age?
its bugging me, the card cost £240 when it came out, and the game is getting too much for the card somehow
