CSS performance

I played CSS 8 months ago and had great performance of around 120fps average. I now get about 5 and have no idea why. Are there any decent tweak guides out there?

XP pro, vsync off. It seems like the performance has just degraded over time

Edit: Strangely changing my graphics settings and overclocking/underclocking my rig has next to no performance variance.

I used to run at 1680*1050 2*AA 8*AF all setting max and get 110-120fps on an overclocked:

AMD A64 3500+ (1st gen!) @ 2.55Ghz
1GB crap DDR RAM
6800GT OC'd to Ultra

I will try reinstalling CSS but I doubt it will help much

Aye but it's the same processor that I used to run.

Would a cheap s939 dual core help out at all?
