Just got a new widescreen monitor and now i would like to run CSS in 1680x1050 but everytime i start CSS up it defaults to my old res 1280x1024. I looked through the config.cfg but couldn't spot anything. Anyone know a work around so i dont have to change to widescreena and the res everytime i want to play?

Does the game support widescreen? Theres a website that provides widescreen hacks, so it forces it sort of like a program or something. Forgot what its called.
 
I'm running it @ 1680x1050 and had the same problem, I think I fixed it by deleting the clientregistry.blob file.
 
yeh CSS supports widescreen, i'll try the client.blob thingy cheers ;)

EDIT actually before i do it, does that file contain anything else of importance?
