Cthulhu caught on film!

That looks appalling. Is it meant to be a joke or something?..maybe i dont get it. :)

HP Lovecraft... 1920s 'father' of gothic horror.

Said short film... modern day filming meant to look like it was made in the 20s to try and recreate the atmosphere of the prose... and on a budget. ;)

Simple things like this excites us beardies that read the stories and played Call of Cthulhu RPG and its spin-offs. :)

The only recent film, I can think of, that hints towards Lovecraft is parts of Hellboy... especially the end section with all the tentacled creatures.

I'm sure I read Del Torro was meant to be filming something Lovecraftian or maybe that was it and the rest was 'idol' ;) gossip.

If you've got an xbox, perhaps, have a hunt around for Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth.
